Quick answers
Which devices does Tokaboo work on?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later. An Android version is planned.
How do I start?
Download Tokaboo, create a grown-up account, then add your child with their first name or a nickname and the month and year they were born. Tokaboo suggests where to start, and you can change it at any time.
How do I change or cancel my plan?
Plans are billed through the App Store. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Tokaboo. You can change or cancel there at any time.
How do I download or delete my family's data?
In Tokaboo, go to Settings, then Your family's data. You can download a copy, delete a child's data, or delete your whole account.
Does Tokaboo record my child's voice?
No. Tokaboo listens on the phone to check each word and then lets the sound go. Nothing is recorded, uploaded or shared.
Tokaboo didn't hear a word correctly. What can I do?
Listening works best in a quiet room with the phone close to your child. Very young voices are hard for any technology to hear, so Tokaboo is a practice guide, not a test. If it keeps mishearing a word, let us know which one.
